Was just thinking about what to do for the weekend when I bumped into Andy The Senior Interior Designer online. And bless his soul, he reminded me that he still owes me a meal. Free food, whoa! I couldn't shower and leave my room soon enough. It'd be nice to catch up with someone who doesn't know what I've just gone through because, seriously, I'm done with the awkward pat on the back or shoulder rub and careful "how're you feeling now" in hushed gravity. It's a great feeling to know that so many people around me care, but it seems like nobody really knows how to handle the death of the friend of a friend. Tough for caring buddies to address the situation, tough for me to respond to their attempts.
I've been a wreck for the past week. Thank you all who braved my unsual quietness and expressionless face to give me an encouraging smile. I'm done mourning. It'll be what Nido wants for his loved ones anyway. And I've decided not to fly to Taiwan.
Moving on.

Babe, there's a season for everything. So hope your season to laugh will soon replace the season to mourn.
Yikes... a bit "chim" right? We're here for you (silently, sometimes) *HUGS*
